What Is a Monoblock Wheel?
A monoblock wheel is machined from a single piece of forged aluminum — one solid billet, forged into a blank, then CNC-machined into its final form. There are no bolts, no welds, no seams. The entire structure — spokes, barrel, lip — is a continuous piece of metal with uninterrupted grain flow from center to rim.
This is fundamentally different from multi-piece wheels, which typically consist of a forged center bolted to a spun-formed barrel. While multi-piece construction allows for easy width adjustments and lip replacement, it introduces bolt holes, seams, and mating surfaces that are potential failure points and add weight.
