The Story

Christopher's 488 GTB is finished in the rare Blu Tour de France — a deep, almost navy blue that Ferrari only offers through its Tailor Made program. The factory silver wheels, while perfectly adequate, didn't create the visual tension Christopher was after.

"I wanted something that would make people look twice," Christopher admits. "Not because it was loud or flashy, but because the details rewarded close inspection." The VF-801 Diamond Cut was the answer — a wheel with faceted, jewel-like surfaces that catch light in unexpected ways.

The Diamond Cut process on the VF-801 involves precision-machining the face of each spoke after finishing, creating micro-facets that sparkle as the wheel rotates. Against the deep blue Ferrari paint and the golden California sunset, the effect is nothing short of mesmerizing.
