Audi R8 V10
The Story
Daniel purchased his R8 V10 Performance as a last-of-its-kind tribute to the naturally aspirated V10 — a powertrain that Audi has confirmed will not survive the transition to electrification. "This car is a piece of history," he says. "I wanted wheels that honored that."
The VF-220 in Satin Bronze was an unconventional choice for the R8's Kemora Gray paint — and that's exactly why Daniel chose it. The motorsport-inspired multi-spoke design echoes the R8's Lamborghini-derived racing heritage, while the bronze finish provides warmth against the cool gray body.
These photographs were captured during a sunrise session on Mulholland Drive, with the Los Angeles basin visible in the distance. The Satin Bronze finish shifts dramatically in different light — from a deep, almost copper tone in shadow to a bright golden sheen in direct sunlight.
